Introduction

First entry. I'm excited to encourage a conversation about investment properties in Central Vermont.

Just yesterday IBM announced it was laying off a couple hundred workers in Essex. Times are tough everywhere, even in CVT, but I'm an optimist. One way to look at tough economic times is that there are going to be more renters, which drives down vacancy, and lets landlords be choosy about tenants. Those are good things from the perspective of the owner of multi-family properties.
